Equine Disease Periodic Ophthalmia

Equine Periodic Ophthalmia is also known as Moon Blindness.  It occurs when there is inflammation of the horse’s iris surrounding the pupil.   It can be a once-off condition or it can return if the eye is prone to inflammation.
